# Kira product documentation

Kira provides two small local policy libraries for integration examples. These fixtures do not provide hosted webhook delivery or authentication services.

## Kira Events

[Kira Events](/kira-events) models webhook delivery through an injected transport. Its default is **5 retries after the initial attempt**, giving **6 total attempts**. HTTP 429, HTTP 5xx, and transport errors retry; HTTP 2xx succeeds, while other HTTP statuses stop.

## Kira Verify

[Kira Verify](/kira-verify) calculates and checks verification code validity windows. The default lifetime is **300 seconds (5 minutes)**. A window is active at issuance and inactive at its exact expiry timestamp. This library handles expiry metadata only; it does not generate, deliver, compare, or consume secret codes.
